Admission Policy

Admission is open to all castes, creeds, and communities without distinction, provided children are deemed capable of drawing benefit from the kind of education imparted. For admission in the Nursery class, the age limit is 3+ years, whereas for admission in the 1st class, the age limit is 6+ years according to NEP 2020. Those applying for admission are, as a rule, to appear for an Entrance Test in the main subjects. This test helps the school authorities to have an advanced knowledge of the students regarding the particular subject so that if found weak in any subject, appropriate and desired extra time could be imparted to the particular student at a later stage in the classroom. For students coming from weaker sections and disadvantaged groups of society, 25% of seats are reserved for free education in class 1st and 6th, respectively, on the production of valid documents required for this purpose.
The parents are requested to complete all formalities for admission with in seven working days after registration, failing which school has the right to cancel the admission/registration. All documents submitted at the time of admission will not be returned at any cost. A pupil who has attended a recognized school must submit a Transfer Certificate from the school last attended. Birth Certificate from Panchayat or Municipal Committee in support of the date of birth must be submitted. The particulars mentioned/received from previous school shall be treated as final record for entering in our school record. Any change shall only be entered if brought corrected from previous school and the old record shall not be returned at any case.
In the event of any clerical error regarding date of birth, the certificates issued from school side must be brought to the notice of the office immediately for rectification with in a Period of 15 days. The record brought at the later stage shall not be treated for rectification and school shall not be held responsible for that. Provisional admission to class 11th will be done until the result of the preceding class is declared. The provisional admission fees paid shall not be refundable if student fails in the previous class, but shall be adjusted in fee of lower class if student continues in lower class.
No student who has attained the age of 20 years on 31st March of the year of the admission shall be admitted to class 11th. It is relaxed to 3 years in case of SC/ST students. As by the orders of H.P.Board of School Education, Dharamshala, any student migrating from some other boards, shall have to deposit the Migration Certificate or School Leaving Certificate duly counter signed by their DEO. If not, their forms will not be send to Board. Any type of documentary deficiency on the part of parents or any document desired/demanded by H.P. Board which can be produced only by parents shall be entirely the responsibility of the parents and school shall not be held responsible for this.

Withdrawals

Students can be withdrawn or removed from the school as under:-

  • By Giving Notice: One-month prior notice before withdrawal is required; otherwise, the fee for the following month will be charged.
  • School Authority's Right: The school reserves the right to compel parents to withdraw their child on the following grounds:
    • Irregular attendance or non-payment of fees.
    • Consistently poor academic progress.
    • Misconduct affecting the school’s moral values.
    • Insubordination to school authorities.
    • Students getting married before completing Class XII.
    • Creating an undesirable atmosphere in school.
  • Transfer & Character Certificate: Issued only after clearing all school dues.
    • ₹50 for the first issuance.
    • ₹100 for subsequent re-issuance.

School is bound to take Legal Action against those parents whose children leave school without clearing the dues.

Those students who fail to pay the fees at proper time, their names can be struck off from the rolls.
